Abstract
During the 18th century, the vast Russian Empire joined the European Great Powers and proceeded to ascertain its infulence over events taking place in various regions of Europe. Within the scope of his two-volume monograph, Stellner focused on the relations between Russia and Central Europe.
The first volume's main themes are in the sphere of politic, diplomatic and dynastic relations, whereas the second volume includes analysis of relations in culture, education, science and economy.
