Abstract
In 2014 we managed to publish popularly enlightening publication entitled ""We can't get rid of chemistry"" in the framework of two-year project called 5P+. There are selected topics that could be interesting for the general public, as pharmaceutical drugs from many points of view, fertilizers, plastics and macromolecular substances in the daily life, explanation of MRI, isoprenoids and experiments with them.
The following chapters explain the use of serious games to obtain chemical literacy and introduce the Web Portal of Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague. The supplementary materials for each of the chapters are provided on DVD medium if it can't be transmitted in text form, e.g. movie clips with chemical experiments, electronic presentations, tests and games.
All of these resources aim to ease the journey through the world of chemistry and make it more engaging.
