Abstract
This aim of the following contribution entitled ""the fixed-term labour relationship in the comparison of the Czech and Romanian legal regulations"" is to draw the attention on the fixed-term labour relationship's issue as nowadays one of substantial examples existing within atypical employments forms. This issue is to be studied within foreign legal regulations'c ontext, due to the inevitable actual ""legal coexistence"" of the Czech Republic with a broader context of the European Union.
Accordingly, the above mentioned issue is going to be dealt from the Czech labour law-related perspective as well as from the Romanian one, that is to say as two new EU Member States; furthermore in the light of the obligations resulting for these Member States from their membership in the EU.
