Abstract
The article aims to find the ways whereby various Prague communities remember their past through music. The theoretical background comes mainly from Jan Assmann (2011) and his concept of connective structure.
In the empirical part, three "modalities" (ways of recollection) are presented which manifest different perspectives to the socialist era.
