Abstract

The reviewed publication of Václav Holeček: Psychology in teacher's practice is meant especially for teachers, but also for psychologists working in education and counselling and parents. The author chooses from psychological information those pieces that could help teachers and offers connections between a real school situation and informational wealth of psychology science to the reader.

He complements the information with experience or suggestions from the school reality and from his research conducted at schools. By this he makes the psychological findings more specific and utilizable.
