We analyze in the comparative perspective two novels: the novel Hanka (1915/ 1918) of Slovene woman writer Zofka Kveder and Jedno Dopisivanje (1929) of Srbian author Julka Chlapec- Djordjević. We research different narative strategies in the two epistolary novels.
The romans are very moderne, written with different intertextual codes. In the main focus they represent a picture of a new woman in the literature.
We also anaylize the influence of Kveder to Chlapec- Djordjević.
