Abstract
The chapter focuses on political theory and judicial behaviour of Vlastimil Sevcik, a former judge of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic. Although he was a person of strong moralistic view, as a judge, Sevcik was characterized by restraint to legislative powers and by respect to the separation of powers generally.
