Abstract
Education is an integral tool which we as society possess for rethinking our past, for reacting on challenges of present, for redirecting our paths towards future in order to achieve coherence and sustainability. The authors state that education has the great capacity to face and to support the positive modern social, political and economic changes.
However, in order to succeed we have to address and rethink the purpose of education and the responsibilities of people involved in the education process.
