Abstract
The chapter concerns Didactics of Physics (or Physics Education Research), mainly in The Czech Republic. In the first part it shortly summarizes also the developments and current state of this field in the international context.
Then, the historical development of Didactic of Physics in our country is presented, as well as the current problems in physics education found out by a survey among Czech experts in the field of Didactics of Physics. Finally, the perspectives and possible scenarios of future development of this field in our country are discussed.
