Possible parameters for evaluating experience activities

Abstract

The paper aims to find options for evaluating educational activities which evoke experiences in order to develop language skills and which are usually not evaluated quantitatively. First the author defines the term experience activity, illustrated by examples from common teaching practice, and examines their objectives.

To find the parameters for potential evaluation criteria, the used source material are student presentations resulting from role-playing games. The descriptors for assessing the outputs of foreign language speakers are summarised in a table and commented on.
