The article presents the Bridging Language Acquisition and Language Policy Symposium, which took place in Lund, Sweden, 17th and 18th June 2015. The symposium was aimed at the connection of two topics - language acquisition and language policy.
The article describes and analyses some of the presentations according to their orientation at one of the two dominant domains connected to language acquisition and language policy at this symposium, these being family and school. In the end, the presentation of the authors of this article is briefly summarised.
