Abstrakt
In the paper are discussed the known pieces of written evidence concerning the hitherto somewhat mysterious and far achaeologically unidentified type of an Egyptian sanctuary called mrt. It seem that this sanctuary, dedicated to the cult of Hathor, Ihy and king helped at the beginning of the 5th Dynasty to enhace the legimity of the new royal family.
