Arbitration Committee of an association according to the Art. 265 of the Civil Code and Its Useability for Solving Disputes within Sport Associations

Abstract

The Czech Civil Code (Act. Nr. 89/2013) newly enables "Arbitration Committees" to be established within associations.

The aim of the article is to discuss the possibility and reasonability of setting up such committee within sport associations in the Czech Republic.In the overal the conclusion is that only large sport associations should resort to this kind of action and establish an arbitration committee.
