Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy and the Czech literary criticism of the twentieth century - F. X. Šalda and Václav Černý

Abstract

This study is focused on the reception of the Divine Comedy written by Dante Alighieri in the Czech literary criticism of the twentieth century. Two main works about Dante's poetic are presented - F.X.Šalda - Básnická osobnost Dantova and Václav Černý - Polibek na usměvavá ústa.
