Slavic Languages in Universal Dependencies

Publication at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics |
2015

Abstract

We address the application of UD to Slavic languages. We devote the most space to peculiarities of pronouns, determiners, numerals and quantifiers.

Other language features that are discussed include modal verbs, ellipsis, nominal predicates, and reflexive pronouns. Most of our examples are from Czech but the language features demonstrated are usually portable to other Slavic languages.

We include examples from the other languages where appropriate.
