The monograph presents a comprehensive treatment of religion law in the Czech Republic. It is divided into five parts.
In the first part, entitled "Basic concepts of religion law" are treated concepts such as religion law, confession, churches, religious communities, systems of religion law, models of religion law legislation etc. The second part, entitled "Czech religion law in present, general part" refers to the sources of the Czech religion law, individual and collective religious freedom, the administrative procedure for the registration of religious communities, legal persons derived from religious communities, the internal organization of religious communities, the demographic survey of religiosity in the Czech lands.
The third part "Czech religion law in present, special part" includes chapters such as religion and education, religion and the armed forces, prison service and religion, religion and family, religion and criminal law, financing of religious communities. The fourth part provides an overview of religion law in selected countries in Europe and America.
The fifth part describes the history of religion law in the Czech Lands since the beginning of the Czech statehood till 1993.
