Abstract
The chapter deals with different types of migrants by type of residence (transient and long term), but also Czech citizens with migrant history (eg .female seniors who are subject to specific discrimination, or women of the second migrant generation). We acknowledge (socially and legislatively) the specific situation of women - applicants for international protection and asylum holders, whose life paths might vastly differ eg. from labor migrants or women who came to the Czech Republic on the basis of family reunification.
