Svatopluk, the king of the Slovaks or Czechs and Moravians

Abstract

The study is dedicated of the image Svatopluk's in the Slovak, Czech and Hungarian Literature. More specifically deals with the epic Svatopluk by Ján Hollý (1833). and his confrontation with the Czech (František Palacký, Alois Jirásek) and Hungarian (Mihály Vörösmarty) conception.
