Abstract
The essay is dedicated to artistic questions in Italian film Wondrous Boccaccio by directors Vittorio and Paolo Taviani, especially to their aesthetic in the adaptation of the famous book Decameron by Giovanni Boccaccio. The essential problem in film is the sumptuous visual beauty of pittoresque Picture, which intensively covers Boccaccio's substancial physical expression and the natural senzuality of the medieval life.
