Abstract
The review focuses on the art of the important Czech photographer Pavel Mára (born 1951) in the large representative publication. Mára is connected with the expression and poetics of film (educated as a cameraman too).
The retrospective book summarizes all remarkable photo-cycles, the evolution and changing of photographer's style and the experimental methods during all artistic life. There is observed not only whole work, but also the specific presentation of the particular spaces of the exhibitions.
