Abstract
The introductory chapters (1-3) are describing terms as aetology, epidemiology of thyreopaties and its clinical examinations, chapters (4-5) are describing laboratory diagnostics and use of imaging methods. Chapters (6-10) are showing thyroid gland diseases (hyperthyreosis, hypothyroidism, thyroiditis, thyroid carcinoma).
Spacial chapter is devoted to screening of thyreopaties and thyreopaties in pregnancy (chapters 11-12). Thyroid nodules re discussed in chapter 13, combination of thyreopaties and other diseases (as diabetes mellitus, obesity) is described in chapters 14-16.
Chapter 17 is devoted to thyreopaties in old age.
