International Migration in the Czech Republic: State of art with the emphasis on Ukrainian migration

Abstract

In 2015, the immigrants represent about 4.4 % of population in the Czech Republic. Ukrainians are the most numerous immigrant group, followed by Slovaks and Vietnamese, without forgetting significant populations from the Balkans and Africa.

This chapter presents current migration patterns in the Czech Republic with special emphasis on the Ukrainian migration through the review of relevant literature and statistical sources.
