Abstract
This paper analyzes the Czech inpatient sector and identifies specific areas worth targeting in order to increase inpatient care efficiency. It starts with the description of stylized facts in Section 2 where the Czech healthcare indicators are put into an international/EU context.
Cross-sections and time-series of data are presented for selected indicators of inpatient care efficiency.
