Abstract

Through interviewing of the students of the Faculty of PE and Sport, Charles University in Prague (UK FTVS) in last year of magister study, we attempted to identify the current situation of professional orientation of students. The survey of the results show that: 1.

Half a year before the end of the study the students are not entirely clear about future employment. Nearly a third of students (29.8%) have their future employment already agreed, half of the students (52.6%) is looking and trying to find for themselves the most appropriate employment, 15.8% of future graduates want to continue their studies or pre-employment travel. 2.

Future graduates of UK FTVS turning their interests for the next job especially in high school and coaching, or college or fitness center. A little lower is interest in working on a sports school or sports academy or to be employed as a sports instructor.

On the outskirts of interest is the basic school and vocational schools. 3. If the students before the conclusion of a study to collect their job, then when choosing they prefer personal job satisfaction, financial attractiveness and content interesting work.

Conversely, social evaluation of the work, the perspective of tangible benefits and immediate material benefits play an insignificant role in job selection.
