Abstract
Publication concerns with the conceptualization of adult education in the Czech Republic. First two chapters contain basic terminological and theoretical anchoring of the problematics within which the management of education is contextualized into particular categories and the whole-life education phases and also it's levels, parts and object are defined.
This basic concetualization is followed by two chapters dedicated to interpretation of the results of empirical survey focused primarily at school headmasters, their development and management approaches.
