Abstract
It is an updated and revised edition of the dictionary from 2001. All entries went through a thorough revision, about 80 explanations were substantially changed, several hundreds of entries amended or modified, several dozens of entries added.
The chief innovations of the etymological presentation are giving the century of the first attested occurance of words in Czech and the reconstruction of Indo-European forms in accordance with the laryngeal theory.
