Abstract
In the paper, the semantic paradigm links of contrast are dealt with, being considered the dynamic factor behind the current Bulgarian and Czech lexis. From that point of view, new types of antonymy relations are determined which have been established between the items listed in the register of Bulgarian and Czech new nouns.
Based on the formal-structural and semantic analysis, a conclusion is made, saying that in Bulgarian as well as in Czech new vectorial and non-gradable antonyms prevail.
