One of the almost forgotten areas, where the endangered species Gagea bohemica occurrs, is an area northwest of Prague in the Zákolanský Brook basin. Recent data about the species' occurrence in the region are more or less lacking.
The area has in recent years been thoroughly studied and there were found many as yet unknown Gagea bohemica localities. The article provides an overview of the above sites and they are discussed possible threats to populations.
There is also mentioned what was carried out to support the species (mowing, moss and old grass removal, elimination of bushes). There are a total of 19 Early Star-of-Bethelem localities, which are new or more or less unknown.
