Problems of Midwifery in Pelhřimov Region: Role of Midwifery on the Basis of Archival Materials

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the problems of midwifery in the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th centuries with the focus on the Pelhřimov region. Some aspects connected with midwifery practice are observed on the basis of archival materials, the literature of the period as well as contemporary studies.
