Abstract

Increasing number of new hominin species and presentation of this fossil finds by paleoanthropologist becomes a difficult problem for the orientation and understanding the meaning of the new finds. However, interpretation of them is a key topic for scientists and teachers.

New find of hominin taxon Australopithecus deyiremeda shows how the new finds are usually presented as well as the most frequent problems following from simplified and one-sided presentations and how to avoid imprecise and false interpretations. Current analysis presents weak points and simplifying and one-sided interpretation of the authors in the framework of contemporary interpretation of hominid evolution.
