Trends in the prenatal diagnostics of the Down syndrome in the Czech Republic: What is the association with the maternal age?

Abstrakt

During the selected time period we can see the increasing age of pregnant women in the Czech Republic. The overall number of women elder 35 years of age is still increasing.

Along with that we can see the increase of the total incidence of Down syndrome.
