Pianist and composer Celestin Rypl (1894-1945) is quite unkown to broader specialized public. Altough he successfuly acted as a pianist, composer (over 15 opus numbers) and music teacher in Germany.
In Czechoslovakia, Czech Philharmonic performed his compositions, Czech Radio broadcasted them, Rypl was famous also as a pianist. It was a revolution of 1945 which affected Rypl's life, or better the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia in the first place.
