Abstract
The international academic conference was held to discuss the up-to-date problems concerning the migration in Europe and its human rights dimension under the patronage of deputy prime minister and interior minister of SR Robert Kaliňák. It has been summoned by The Academy of Police Force (Department of police sciences, Department of public-law sciences), Middle European Police Academy - MEPA and the Charles University in Prague (Faculty of Law).
Aim of this event was to summarize both practical and theoretical knowledge from the area of migration in connection with the present situation in Europe.
