Among the goldsmithˋs works from the era of Charles IV there stands out the group of precious objects made according to the cathedral architecture. Among the most significant there belongs an ostensory from the former Cistercian monastery in Sedlec near Kutná Hora.
There si no doubt about coherence of this ostensory and similar goldsmithˋs works with Prague Cathedral workshop and maybe even with Peter Parler himself. It is apparent that Prague Cathedral work had a complex character - that St.
Vitus workshop built not only the first church in the country but it was the focus point of sculpture works and as this example testifies even goldsmithˋs works.
