The Building of Czechoslovak Anthropology: Science of Man in Czech Lands and Aleš Hrdlička (1869 - 1943)

Abstract
Article reminds workshop, held 17-18 October 2013 in Prague about the beginnings of the institutionalization of anthropology at the Czech University in Prague and about relations between Aleš Hrdlička and Jindřich Matiegka. It was initiated after handover of documents of Jindřich Matiegka to the university archive, which contain a substantial portion of mutual correspondence between Hrdlička and Matiegka.
