Abstract

Hernia (hernia) in the scar to this day not one of the unresolved issues of surgical and high risk of recurrence compared to other types of hernia is a constant subject of scientific research. Dutch randomized prospective study dealing with Incisional hernia recurrence showed a ten-year rate of recurrence in 63% of cases, if not used for surgery, surgical mesh, and 32% if used to be.

Mesh implantation within ten years after surgery did not reduce the risk of recurrence, her only about two to three years delayed. Therefore, in this utility model prepared and tested woven surgical network (typically Optilene company B-gates, Prolene and Ultrapro forms Ethicon) for surgical applications with the function of mechanical support provided nanofibrous coating based on biodegradable polymers, preferably polycaprolactone "PCL" acid polylactic "PVA", polylactide-co-glycolide "PLGA" polyvinyl alcohol "PVA", chitosan, alginate or hyaluronic acid "HA", or any combination of these polymers.
