Vanished frescoes of Jan Kryštof Handke from church of Our Lady in Hradec Králové

Abstract

Paper deals with frescoes in church of Our Lady in the city of Hradec Králové. The paintings were created in 1730 by Jan Kryštof Handke and perished in 1762.

However, their iconographic description survived in archival sources of the Society of Jesus known as "annual reports" (litterae annuae).
