Dermoscopy pigmented skin tumors. Vascular tumors and hemorrhagic manifestations

Abstract

Within dermatoscopic examination in practice mainly we try to distinguish hemangioma and other variants of the vascular benign tumors from malignant melanoma or from certain types of melanocytic nevi. Dermatoscops can in this respect be of great help and differential diagnosis is usually quick and easy.

On the palms, soles and under the nail localization mimics melanoma bleeding into the superficial layers of the skin.
