Whooping cough in infants from the perspective of the infectologist, prevention options

Abstract

The cases of whooping cough in different age groups are growing in recent years. It was found that vaccination-induced immunity is not permanent.

The article describes the clinical picture of selected patients, completed by epidemiological data, diagnostic, therapeutic and prophylactic procedures.
