Geopolitics of secession: Comparative analysis of parent states

Abstract

Conference contribution presented a comparative analysis of successful secessionist cases with a focus on parent states. By this comparison the authors points at the crucial position of (super)power support for the outcome that is the only variable fitting all the cases' outcome.
