Abstract
Excoriation (Skin-Picking) disorder is a new diagnostic category presented in DSM-5 and is expected to occur in ICD-11. It is supposed to be linked to a dysfunction in frontal lobe cortex.
Glutamatergic transmission may be impaired as well. Case of herein presented patient suffering from comorbidity of excoriation disorder, epilepsy and adjustment disorder with prolonged depressive reaction demonstrates still limited therapeutic knowledge.
