The Protection of European Union states' maritime borders in the context of non-refoulement principle

Abstract

This book deals with the phenomen of Non-refoulement principle, which importance has grown in the last couple of months for the Member States of the European Union following the mass influx of persons that began in the year 2015. Therefore, it is useful to do a short reflection of the current situation from the point of view of its application for the states' maritime borders protection and definition of the refugee law .
