Abstract

Chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) results from inadequate recanalisation of pulmonary vessels after pulmonary embolism together with ganges in microcirculation which are similar as in PAH. These ganges lead to increase of pulmonary artery pressures, increase of pulmonary vascular resistence and in the long term to right ventricular failure.
