Abstract
The contemporary lexicographical practice in phraseology should be reevaluated, so that it could correspond with the expectations of a modern user of a dictionary. The Large German-Czech Academic Dictionary is an electronic lexical database with lower space restrictions and new possibilities.
This new medium and application of corpus research results enable also a new concept of the phraseography, which is presented in this paper.
