Listening comprehension: foreign Slovak studies specialists and Czech language

Abstract

Listening comprehension is a skill that has a key role in foreign language acquisition. The paper presents the results from a survey examining the degree of listening comprehension of A1 level Czech speech by Slovak Studies specialists from abroad, both Slavs and non-Slavs.
