Abstract

In the current population, cardiovascular diseases are a major socio-economic problem, primarily including manifestations of coronary heart disease, which is among the most common causes of morbidity and mortality. In the last twenty years, there has been an enormous development of minimally invasive techniques for myocardial imaging, gradually changing the diagnostic algorithms for myocardial diseases.

The crucial role plays understanding to the pathophysiology of the myocardium in all of the kinds of the imaging.
