Publication

Abstract

The first fully mobile version of a device for visual evoked potentials (VEPs) examination was developed on the basis of our patent CZ 304882. Its construction enables also self-examination outside laboratory background.

The device includes a stimulation part with a set of LEDs (two rows of diodes enable large choice of monochromatic or colour stimulations) and a recording part with dry electrodes and special EEG amplifiers (constructed in co-operation with Czech Technical University in Prague and RCD Radiokomunikace, Staré Hradiště). Fixing of the device on the head of the examined person is performed with a plastic head-set, the detachable part of which can be disinfected.

The device is connected to a PC and its functions are controlled by our software EPort v. 4.0.
