Abstract

Organized crime is a very serious form of crime, which, thanks to internationalization and links with the world has become a phenomenon against which it is necessary to cooperate at the international level and pay constant attention to it. Organized crime is very closely connected with criminal activities of legal persons which play increasingly important role in society.

Because of the danger of this type of crime and the extent of its consequences, states should create the criminal liability of legal persons as a one of the measures in the fight against organized crime and subject them to rules that will effectively ensure compliance with the law in their respective areas. The paper deals with the relevance of the organized crime, role of legal persons in organized crime and their punishment.
