Abstract
Text concludes that the problems of form and the legal strength of a binding referendum result are intertwined with the 'Slovak' model of binding decision-making regarding an abstract question, a model that, despite evident shortcomings, continues to be adopted in draft legislation proposed by the Czech government and MPs.
