Abstract
Fluid management is a very important part of everyday anestesia care. In recent years our possinilities for monitoring of the cardiovascular systém improved significantly.
Besides, evidence has accumulated regarding the impact of fluid type and kontent as well as perioperative ballance on the postoperative outcome. This review article reviews new aspects of fluid fysiology and thein implications for routine anesthesia care.
